Canada
Приєднався 18 лис 2006
I am a farmer in Northern Alberta, Canada. I made this UA-cam channel to show people from around the world what it is like to farm In northern Canada. Subscribe and come along for the ride and view my daily activities as I get the work done that needs to be done. See How the Hot summers and cold nights affect crops to the cold winters and how we manage with that.

Harvest Has Begun! I Combine Peas!
Easy to make, sucks to pick them up, haul and restack them. Lol 🍻👍
Looks like you could use a wider pickup on the baler.
Nice feed for the Horse people! Just need a crew to get stacked 😮
Love this, it's definitely pretty heavy, still makes nice bales
She chewing some hay 👍🏻
Always handy to have little squares for calving time
Best thing about small square bales is there is no wasted storage space.
I wish the whole field would take off and grow big
Looks nice. Im thinking of doing something similar. So, 8 years later, are you still using it, are you satisfied with it, anything you would change if you did it again? Thanks for sharing this.
Can't believe that was 8 years ago already. It's probably the best shed out there. Only thing is the back is to low and the cows rub on the tin roof
Oh...and I put rubber belt on the bottom from a conveyor. I would make the bottom even with the 2x6...and just have belt the rest of the way..
@@Northern_Farmer Thats good news, glad to know its holding up well, thanks for sharing!
Great video Tyson. Who is Shaun to u?

Just sold my sitrex rake. Went to a bigger rake with larger wheels. Plus I put a swath splitter on it so I can rake 3 windrows together. But that sitrex was a good rake.
@@chadtosh6831 they generally are pretty good
Good luck spraying Tyson
Great video Tyson
Nice to see Shaun’s mom in the video
Holy moly Shaun talks

Might consider doing a cattle/pasture/pond/calf update. Are you getting decent rains to keep the pastures green/thriving or is it another dry potential need to haul water to cattle type of summer?
@@shealy265 ill have a couple more kids coming up...
We went from a Sitrex with 55” rake wheels to 60” wheels and that made a world of difference on teeth breaking.
@@ajskab99 hmm
How wide is the sprayer Tyson? Looks like it's more manageable than ours. Ours being 107ft

Your correct we are not supposed to spray with drones in Canada, yet. But people are doing it regardless
Yes. I heard a fellow bought one and did a quarter of canola with it.
I don't think drone spraying is good enough right now. Give it a few years and it might be better. Thanks for the video.
I think we have drone spraying in Manitoba. Few people offering it I think. Except I heard one was no cheaper or more than a plane, if that's true
Good stuff
Thanks for the video, Tyson! Fields are looking good! 😀
G day Tyson Boy there is Suski & 2 kitties , forgot there names They know who is friendly with them! Ths

Nice 2594, it's case origin trying to break through - white paint.
Just curious what happens to the plants you run on when your spraying? Do they come back up? Thx for the videos
@@brianmorris9593 yup...you can't even tell where the sprayer went come harvest
I steal chunks of used carpet from the dumpster at the carpet store. I put it down for greasy power wash jobs.
The fields are so wide and beautiful
Beautiful place. We all know how it is with forgetting a video, going in the house to edit & the wife always trying to get you back in the sack. A fella can forget. 👍

Tyson, just watched you video and was wondering if this cab was and XL cab and if so, how did you remove the lid? I've been looking for information to get to the blowers, lights, etc. and have not been able to locate, other than remove the whole cab. Thanks in advance if you can help.
@joeskroch7856 xl cab? We just pulled the nuts of the bolts on top the cab and lifted it off. I don't know how lifting the whole cab off would help get to the blowers
@@Northern_Farmer Thanks for the reply. I guess I didn’t make it clear at what I meant on removing the cab. I should have said the only info I’ve found on getting that cab is how to remove it. Sorry about that. Your video and info is what I needed to see. And I just went to climb up and see where the bolts are at, and discovered that apparently there is a large wasp nest in the loader arm. I’ll try it again after I deal with those. Thank you again.
@joeskroch7856 no problem...I remember it was pretty easy
@@Northern_Farmer Wasp removed, got up on the loader arm and looked at the top of the lid, didn't see any nuts\bolts to remove. I don't see anything from the inside to remove either, unless I take off the interior. I do have a hatch on the top, not sure if that maybe the difference. I appreciate all the help.
in western europe it rains since mid-october
be careful It looks like you might tip over
